Copper & Ink is a restaurant in the heart of Blackheath Village, offering seasonal, monthly changing menus. Run by locals Tony Rodd and Becky Cummings, it offers a relaxed environment for guests to experience that little bit of luxury. With the kitchen headed by Tony and fellow MasterChef alum, Rob Parks, dishes are influenced by classic French and modern European cuisines.
Unfortunately for the team at Copper & Ink, their extractor fan had stopped working, causing challenges. This job required patience, perseverance and team work but after a number of visits and dedication from Darren and a helping hand from QS Jeff, the problem was finally resolved. The kitchen had to improvise during this time and the teamwork in this kitchen was a sight to behold. We had an early morning visit one day and Darren commented 'we were delighted to help get Tony and his team up and running again. The job was not without challenges but we were committed to the customer and to seeing the job through'.
Managing Director, Mark Neve also commented 'We look forward to organising a work event at Copper & Ink soon to taste how amazing their food is. Darren was even provided with a complimentary wrap on one visit and he said it was absolutely delicious. This goes to show what fabulous people they are and from one local business to another I wish then every success. Try them out if you get chance.
